The certificate program is 12 months, full-time and residential at our campus in Bukerere, Uganda.
No. A personal laptop is provided as part of the scholarship.
Yes — no tech experience is required. We start from zero. Curiosity and drive are what we look for.
Yes. Our program is open to Ugandan residents including refugees residing in Uganda.
Yes. Groundbreaker Talents is a non-profit organisation, and the program is funded through partners and supporters who invest in access to tech education for young African women.
The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, meals, technical equipment, mentorship, and career support throughout the program.
Accepted Talents are only asked to contribute a small commitment fee before joining the program. This helps confirm participation and commitment to the full-time residential training experience.
Accepted Talents contribute a one-time, non-refundable commitment fee of 200,000 UGX. This helps ensure that applicants who accept a place in the program are fully committed to participating in the full-time residential experience and secures their place in the cohort.
The fee can be paid in full or in installments, either via bank transfer or in cash at the campus against receipt. Payment is due before or on the first reporting day.
We provide job placement and ongoing career support. 98% of graduates are employed within 3 months. We also have an active alumni community.
