Launch your tech career with our fully-funded residential tech education program in Bukerere, Uganda.
Groundbreaker Talents offers full-time Software Engineering, Business and AI scholarships for young African women (ages 18–25) from financially constrained backgrounds. Participants live and learn together on our campus, gaining intensive tech training—combined with mentorship from global tech experts and career support.
By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to step into entry-level roles in East Africa’s growing tech sector and begin shaping your career in the digital world.
Who can apply?
We’re looking for young women who are ready to commit to an intensive, life-changing tech journey. You are eligible if you:
Are a woman aged 18–25
Have limited access to higher education due to financial constraints
Have finished high school (S.4 or 6) and have proof of results (certificate, result slip or transcript)
Are a resident of Uganda or part of refugee communities within Uganda (with valid ID)
Are fluent in spoken and written English
Are not currently enrolled in a university or diploma program (including those on study breaks)
Are deeply motivated to pursue a tech career and make a positive impact in your community

How the application works

Online Form – Upload your required documents and a 2–3 minute motivation video introducing yourself

In-Person Interview – If shortlisted, you'll get an SMS invitation to meet our team on campus for a face-to-face interview
