“I never imagined this life was possible for someone like me.”

Before Groundbreaker Talents, I was just a high school graduate with no financial support and no way to afford university, something I had always dreamed of. While my friends talked about scholarships and campus life, I felt like I didn’t belong.

After school, I took a job during the holidays, but 150,000 shillings wasn’t enough for food, let alone for millions in tuition. Just when I had lost all hope, a friend shared a link to Groundbreaker Talents. That opportunity changed everything. Today, I’m a software engineer working for a company in Japan, collaborating with global teams and growing every day.

It’s a journey I never imagined could be possible for someone like me. And most importantly: I’m no longer earning 150,000 shillings. I can now support my family and help pay my siblings’ school fees. Thank you to Groundbreaker and my sponsors, your support has truly changed my life.
