Before joining Groundbreaker, I worked as a shop attendant, earning just enough to get by — often choosing between transport and a meal. I felt stuck, with no access to opportunity while others talked about careers and university.

Groundbreaker changed that. The program gave me more than tech skills, it gave me confidence and direction. Today, I’m a software developer at Clarke International University. It hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge brought growth. I never imagined I’d be part of professional conversations in tech or collaborate with people I once only admired.

Most of all, I’m proud I no longer earn 200,000 shillings. I can now support my family and contribute to my siblings’ education, without sacrificing my own. Thank you to Groundbreaker and my sponsors. Your belief in me changed everything.”
