I am proud to be a graduate of the Groundbreaker Talent Cohort 1 (2023-2024). When I started, I was a high school graduate with little hope of further education due to financial hurdles. Groundbreaker saw my potential and gave me a chance.

The beginning wasn’t easy as a complete beginner, programming felt like a foreign language. But with time and the program’s support, things clicked. By the time I graduated in 2024, I didn’t just have a certificate; I had the skills and confidence to be a software developer. Today, I am working at Fifty Eight Technology Company as a software developer. At the company, I enjoy building user-friendly mobile and web applications that solve various problems and make people’s lives easier.

Being a Groundbreaker Talent has given me the opportunity to have a career in tech which has given me the financial independence to support myself and my family. This has made a huge difference compared to the past.
