“Groundbreaker Talents gave me purpose.”

After finishing high school in 2022, I was meant to join university but my family simply couldn’t afford it. I took a job as an administrative assistant and kept applying for scholarships, hoping something would come through. While my peers talked about campus life, I stayed silent—not out of envy, but because I was still holding on to hope.

As the eldest, I felt a responsibility to keep pushing for myself and my siblings. Groundbreaker Talents opened a door I never thought would open for someone like me. Being accepted gave me more than an education. it gave me purpose. Today, I’m a software engineer at Interswitch EA Uganda LTD. I’m part of a collaborative tech team, solving real problems, growing every day. What means the most to me: I can now support my family and help my siblings stay in school. I’ll always be grateful to Groundbreaker for believing in my potential.
