Hello, Cohort #6 – Welcoming Our Largest Cohort Yet

Our largest cohort of 40 young women has arrived on our campus in Uganda to begin their software and AI engineering training journey.

Last week, our Talents stepped onto campus to begin a year-long journey toward a career in tech — accompanied by their families, who traveled for hours from across Uganda to support them on this important day. 📣

The campus comes alive with energy when a new cohort arrives. Meeting our new talents, hearing their stories and witnessing the excitement on their faces—this moment gets us every time.

A Move-In Day Highlight

“When the acceptance message came, my sister had my phone. She called so excited she could hardly speak,” shares Mirembe Jane Mugeni (right side), one of our newest Talents. “When she brought me to campus, she was speechless again. The calm environment, the friendly people. She left me here confident I’m in good hands.”

Mirembe’s story is one of 40 that began this week at our residential tech campus.
