Our Talents attended the Uganda ICT Summit 2026 at the National ICT Innovation Hub in Kampala, joining conversations on artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and the future of Uganda’s digital economy.
Uganda ICT Summit: AI and digital infrastructure for economic growth
Uganda’s Tenfold Growth Strategy aims to expand the economy from around $50 billion in 2023 to $500 billion by 2040. Digital transformation is expected to play an important role in that growth by increasing productivity, enabling new industries and improving how businesses and public services operate.
At the Uganda ICT Summit, one message stood out for our Talents: competing in an AI-driven economy requires more than connectivity. Uganda also needs greater computing capacity, stronger digital infrastructure and technology designed for its own context. Takeaways our Talents brought back from the Summit:
